What this site stores, what the contact form sends, who processes it and how to have it removed.
Who this is
WalkUp Digital is a digital production studio working with businesses wherever they are. Anything on this page can be asked about, corrected or acted on by writing to hello@walkupdigital.com.
What the site stores on your device
The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. Two small values are kept in your browser’s own storage: a display preference, and the cookie choice you made in the banner. Both stay on your device, are readable only by this site, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
If optional cookies are ever introduced, they will be loaded only after consent is given, and this page will say what they are before they run.
What you send us
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, the kind of work you are enquiring about, an optional budget range and your message. Submissions are handled by Netlify Forms and forwarded by email to the studio. They are used to answer the enquiry and to prepare a proposal — nothing else. They are never sold, never added to a marketing list and never passed to a third party for their own purposes.
With a submission the form also records two things the visitor never types: the page the visit began on with the site that referred it (for example a search engine), and the page that led to the form. They travel only with a submitted enquiry, are kept in the browser for that visit alone, and tell the studio which pages bring enquiries.
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live, and for up to twenty-four months afterwards so that a returning client’s history is available. After that they are deleted. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner, and it will be.
Who processes data on our behalf
The site is hosted on Netlify, which serves every page and receives the standard request information any web server receives: an IP address, a user agent and the URL requested, retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics. Form submissions are stored in the same account. Studio email runs on Google Workspace. No other processor touches anything a visitor submits here.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to our use of it, or ask for a copy in a portable form. Write to hello@walkupdigital.com and we will answer within thirty days, usually far sooner. If an answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this one at the same address and the date below changes with it. Nothing is applied retroactively to data already collected under an older version.
